Job summary

GeoSport Lighting Systems, a TenCate company, is seeking a Lighting Controls Programmer to configure, program, commission, and support advanced lighting control systems in stadiums and sports facilities.

The role requires hands-on MADRIX experience and a strong grasp of DMX/RDM protocols. Prefer familiarity with Pharos control systems and CRMX wireless links, with travel ~60–70% to sites across states and base in St. Gabriel, LA.

Qualifications

• Hands-on MADRIX software experience.
• Solid understanding of DMX512, RDM, and Ethernet-based protocols (Art-Net/sACN).
• Ability to troubleshoot lighting-control hardware/software/networking quickly.

Responsibilities

• Program, configure, and maintain lighting control systems using MADRIX.
• Perform on-site commissioning with RDM, addressing, diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with engineers/project teams to develop lighting effects and control strategies meeting requirements.
• Lead or assist with system setup, testing, and commissioning documentation.
• Travel to project sites for commissioning, testing, and ongoing support as required.
• Maintain accurate records of configurations, patching, and commissioning activities.
• Provide clear technical communication with teams, customers, and stakeholders.
• Follow safety procedures in stadium/construction environments.
