Oak View Group's Wichita Wind Surge venue seeks an experienced General Manager to lead the food service operations, ensuring profitable and compliant day-to-day management. The GM oversees all staff and revenue-generating activities, coordinating with show management and vendors.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and operational controls to deliver exceptional guest experiences at Equity Bank Park, with a salary range of $80,000–$100,000 and bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in a business-related major required.
• Nationally recognized sanitation training course certification.
• Ability to communicate clearly with staff, management, and guests.
• Experience managing food service operations and labor budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee legal, efficient, professional, and profitable operation of the venue.
• Review and manage budgets, forecasts, and P&L statements.
• Approve equipment purchases and leases, and manage contracts.
• Lead scheduling and labor allocation across management, full-time, and part-time staff.
• Develop menus and marketing plans with department heads.
• Maintain relationships with show managers, suppliers, and vendors.
