PJ Trailers Inc. in Sumner, TX is seeking an entry-level assembler/movements role focused on material handling and production line assignments in our manufacturing facility. You will perform tasks as directed by your supervisor and contribute to daily production goals.

This position requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 60 pounds, and commitment to safety, quality standards, and teamwork on a 10-hour schedule from Monday through Saturday.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with production processes and quality control techniques is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy items up to 60 pounds consistently.
• Must be able to read a tape measure and follow written/verbal instructions.

Level: Entry, Job Location: PJ Texas Mfg Facility - Sumner, TX 75486, Position Type: Full Time, Job Shift: Day, Job Category: Manufacturing, Hours: 6am to 5pm, Monday through Saturday.

SUMMARY

Responsible for performing various tasks involving the movement of materials, production line assignments in our manufacturing facility. Incumbents are also required to perform other miscellaneous tasks, as assigned by his or her supervisor.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to work 10 hour shifts, Monday through Saturday.
• Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.
• Follow prescribed procedures and guidelines.
• Assemble items as instructed by floor supervisor.
• Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.
• Follow all company rules and policies.
• Provide a high level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
• Follow all safety rules and quality standards.
• Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Uphold all OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above.
• Clean-up work area daily.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENT

• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques involved in the effective manufacture of goods a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy items up to 60 pounds consistently required.
• Must have the ability to use and read a tape measure.
• Ability to follow instructions given both verbally and in written form.
• Willingness to learn and work to the best of his/her abilities as well as dependable work ethic.
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to be at work on time.
