Job summary

PJ Texas Mfg Facility in Sumner, TX is seeking a dedicated forklift operator for a full-time, day-shift role. You will unload and stock materials, move stock to pallets, and ensure accurate inventory records in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of forklift experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a strong safety mindset to identify hazards and follow written and verbal instructions.

Qualifications

• 1 year of forklift experience required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to identify hazards and react appropriately.
• Ability to work unsupervised, in harsh weather conditions, and during irregular hours.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places.

• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
• Transport raw materials to production workstations.
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.
• Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs.
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.
• Proven experience as forklift operator.
