Job summary

ND Paper is hiring a Stacker/Dry End Operator in the Corrugator Dry End/Stacker area. You will manage stacking, labeling, and staging of finished board, acting as the last quality checkpoint before conversion or warehouse.

You’ll communicate quality and flow issues in real time, observe defects at the wet end, and help maintain continuous line flow while upholding safety standards and housekeeping.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Ability to perform sustained physical work in a hot, loud, fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to inspect board quality at line speed.
  • Ability to read work orders, run cards, and label orders accurately.
  • Reliable team communication and escalation of issues in real time.
  • Ability to operate safely around moving equipment and high-speed machinery.

Responsibilities

  • Receive sheets from the corrugator cutoff and ensure stacks are formed evenly and counted per run card.
  • Remove completed stacks promptly to prevent line backup and stage them for transport.
  • Apply accurate order labels with customer and sheet information and verify counts.
  • Inspect board for defects and communicate quality holds to the CR Operator immediately.
  • Support waste management and material handling; monitor stacker equipment for malfunctions.
  • Assist with forklift/transfer car movement and maintain clean, safe work area.
