Job summary

Tyson Foods in Springdale, AR is hiring for a palletizer operator on 1st shift. You will operate the palletizer, ensure pallets are prepared, and assist with hand palletizing when production exceeds the machine capacity.

You must be able to lift boxes up to 40 pounds, adhere to Tyson's safety culture with a team, and work varying hours as assigned. This role includes physical demands and strict adherence to workplace safety and quality standards.

Job Description

This position is responsible for operating the palletizer and ensuring the palletizing of all boxes.

Requirements

This person is responsible for ensuring that the palletizer is setup for production and supplying empty pallets. This person is also responsible for hand palletizing if the line produces more boxes than the palletizer can handle, lifting boxes up to excess of 40 pounds. Applicants must be able to work with others to adhere to Tyson's safety culture. If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for a visit to the facility. There is 180 days (6 months) waiting period for former Tyson Foods team members. Applicants who have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times are not eligible for rehire. Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.
