Job summary

Tyson Foods in Vicksburg, MS is seeking a Stacker Labor for the 3rd shift to support fresh plant operations. You will stack, palletize and prepare packaged product for palletizing and continuous flow while following Tyson policies and food-safety standards.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and working in a cold, wet environment. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required to meet production needs.

Responsibilities

• Stack packaged product onto pallets or designated staging areas according to specifications
• Ensure proper stacking patterns, alignment, and stability of product loads
• Monitor product flow to prevent backups, damage, or mis-stacking
• Remove damaged or defective packages from the line and report issues
• Maintain clean and organized work areas around stacking and palletizing stations
• Assist with pallet changes, slip sheets, and load preparation
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene requirements
• Comply with OSHA regulations and Tyson safety policies
• Use proper lifting techniques and safe material-handling practices
• Communicate effectively with line operators and supervisors
• Perform other duties as assigned

Pay is $ 16.95 per hour PLUS $2.00 per hour shift differential.

MUST PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS TASKED BY ADMINISTRATION. MUST BE SAFE AND OBSERVE ALL OF TYSONS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.

Stacker Labor Job Description Summary

The Stacker Labor employee is responsible for stacking, organizing, and preparing packaged product for palletizing and further processing. Fresh Plant Environment Expectations

Work directly with packaged fresh product in temperature-controlled environments

Adhere to strict food safety, sanitation, and contamination prevention standards

Wear required PPE, including gloves, hairnets, and protective footwear

Work in cold, wet, or humid conditions typical of a fresh plant environment

Physical Demands and Work Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions
• Ability to lift, carry, and stack product as required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
• Ability to work in cold, wet, or humid conditions typical of a fresh plant environment

Work Schedule

Must be available to work assigned shifts Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required based on production needs.

This role is essential to maintaining packaging efficiency, load stability, and safe production operations at the Vicksburg Plant.
