Job summary

Tyson Foods in Springdale, AR is hiring for a palletizer operator on the 2nd shift. You will operate the palletizer, ensure proper palletizing of all boxes, and support production by supplying empty pallets.

You must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and perform hand palletizing when the line requires it. A focus on safety and teamwork is essential in Tyson's culture; background checks may apply.

Job Details:

Pay: $16.95 hour. Job description: This position is responsible for operating the palletizer and ensuring the palletizing of all boxes.

Requirements:

This person is responsible for ensuring that the palletizer is setup for production and supplying empty pallets. This person is also responsible for hand palletizing if the line produces more boxes than the palletizer can handle, lifting boxes up to excess of 40 pounds

Applicants must be able to work with others to adhere to Tyson's safety culture. If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for a visit to the facility. There is 180 days (6 months) waiting period for former Tyson Foods team members. Applicants who have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times are not eligible for rehire. Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.

Specific Environment:

Work inside facility, noisy, wet floors and cool temps (50 or below), adequate lighting, moving objects, mechanical and electrical hazards. Sanitizing solutions in water and sanitizers. Days per week and hours per day will vary
