Job summary

Alloy Holdings LLC in Providence, RI seeks a Manufacturing Bonding Technician to join the stack bond department. You will join various metal alloys via gas-fired and induction bonding, while performing brushing, trimming, loading/unloading furnaces, and handling materials.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2–3 years in manufacturing, with ability to read process sheets and prints, work with close tolerances, and participate in QC data collection.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload furnaces and perform general material handling.
• Support safety culture by following all safety rules and reporting incidents/near misses.

Position Summary: Primary functions in the stack bond department, joining various metal alloys via gas fired bonding and induction bonding processes. Other functions will include brushing, loading/unloading furnaces, base metal trimming and general material handling to support the Bonding Department. Qualifications/Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in metals
• Ability to read process sheets and prints
• Work with close tolerances
• Knowledge of using verniers, calipers and micrometers
• Working with quality control and data collection

Physical Requirements/Safety:

• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to use material handling equipment with a 1,500 lb load
• Support a safety culture by following all safety rules including reporting all incidents and near misses.
