Job summary

ERCOT in Taylor, Texas, is seeking a senior operations leader to supervise stability assessments and manage transmission constraint analysis. You will guide the SOL/IROL methodology, oversee the GTC lifecycle, and coordinate with market participants to ensure reliable grid operation under NERC standards.

You will lead a team, participate in industry meetings, and drive process improvements while mentoring staff and delivering authoritative analysis and reports for ERCOT stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of work experience in system operations, planning, interconnection, or related field.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee stability assessments in planning horizon (QSA, GTC/IROL).
• Lead SOL/IROL methodology development and GTC lifecycle.
• Provide engineering analysis and support to outages.
• Coordinate with ERCOT teams and Market Participants on procedures.
• Lead meetings and training; supervise and mentor staff.
• Represent ERCOT on committees and in industry groups.
