Weir is seeking a Design Engineer in St. Louis, MO, with a focus on pump design and customization. The role involves creating detailed drawings and 3D models, reviewing BOMs, and collaborating with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure solutions meet customer needs.

You will work in a hybrid setting with emphasis on safety and cross-functional teamwork. A Bachelor's in engineering and hands-on CAD experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency with CAD and 3D solid modeling tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude in manufacturing environments and BOM management.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and modify detailed part drawings and 3D models to customer specs.
• Review BOMs for accuracy and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, purchasing, quality to ensure solutions meet needs.
• Customize pump designs to fulfill customer requirements and standards.
• Inspect products and perform design analyses as needed.
• Manage engineering data in Teamcenter PLM.
• Support safety and compliance initiatives.
