Weir is seeking an Inside Technical Sales Engineer/Applications Engineer in St. Louis, MO. This onsite role involves reviewing customer specifications and commercial terms, sizing pumps, and preparing proposals within our ERP system (SAP ECC).

You will enter orders with accuracy and provide ongoing technical support to customers and internal teams. The role emphasizes collaboration within a team of engineers and project managers, focusing on minimizing downtime and delivering reliable pumping

Formación

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
Minimum 3 years in technical sales or application engineering within manufacturing.
Familiarity with centrifugal pumps or related pump technologies.

Responsabilidades

Technical Specification Review: analyze customer specs and terms to ensure alignment with product offerings and standards.
Equipment Selection and Proposal Preparation: size pumps and select equipment based on RFQ; submit quotations and proposals in SAP ECC.
Order Entry and Technical Support: accurately enter orders and provide ongoing technical support to customers and sales staff.
Collaboration and Continuous Improvement: work with Application Engineers and Project Managers to improve processes.
