Job summary

Solitude Mountain Resort is seeking a creative and talented Lead Bartender to join our Food and Beverage team in Utah's Cottonwood Canyon. You will greet guests, craft classic cocktails and exciting new drinks, and tailor recommendations to preferences while assisting the FOH Lead on floor management and daily reports.

Your role balances speed, accuracy, and hospitality—maintaining a clean bar, managing inventory, and supporting the team to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Collect and serve customers food and drink orders using the InfoGenesis system.
• Create and maintain a comfortable, friendly atmosphere.
• Ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar.
• Maintain inventory of beer, wine, liquor, and food.
• Offer recommendations.
• Verify IDs for customers under 35.
• Log and track BERG numbers daily.
• Bar-track customers’ bar tabs and Berg system numbers daily.
• Balance the bank at the end of each shift.
• Assist guests with information about the resort and local area.
• Build rapport with travelers, locals, and regulars.

JOB TITLE: Lead Bartender

DIVISION: Food and Beverage

REPORTS TO: FOH Lead/ Village Dining Room Manager

CLASSIFICATION: Part-Time/ Seasonal/Hourly

POSITION:

Solitude is seekingout a creative and passionate bartender to join our talented food and beverage team who is interested in working up in the charming and sublime Utah Cottonwood Canyon. The bartender’s responsibility is to execute excellent communication skills and to serve classical cocktails and exciting new beverages to our customers. The bartender will greet customers, learn about their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages. They will also act as an assistant to our Restaurant FOH Lead. Meaning they will manage the floor, check off side work, run reports and balance the bank, help with inventory, and any other tasks the FOH Lead needs help with throughout the week. • Verify IDs of any customer that appears under the age of 35
• Log and track BERG numbers daily (including spillage, “misclicks”, etc.)
• Bar-track customer’s bar tabs and the Berg system numbers daily
• Balance the bank at the end of each shift
• Assist guests with information about the resort and local area
• Build a good rapport with travelers, locals, and regular patrons
