Job summary

Beshenich Muir & Associates, LLC (BMA) is seeking a SST Systems Engineer to provide system support for the MCTSP and to install, operate, integrate, and troubleshoot the JLCCTC suite for training exercises across the US. The role requires security clearances, RMF/IA compliance, and experience with LVC-G federations and mission command systems.

The position involves working in outdoor and office environments, with travel as required, and reports to the SST Lead.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in the LVC-G field with federations, models, systems, tools and Mission Command Systems.
• Eight (8) years of computer skills with Linux and Microsoft systems.
• Understanding of Windows OS and Linux OS.
• Experience in high security environments and RMF/IA requirements.
• Must meet DoD/IA certification requirements including CompTIA Security+.

Responsibilities

• Serves as technical expert for JLCCTC and Low Overhead Simulations (ALOTT, DXTRS).
• Responds to operation questions, troubleshoots, and provides configuration management on software/hardware.
• Verifies patches are applied to JLCCTC systems.
• Maintains inventory and ensures systems are in working order.
• Keeps knowledge updated on FIRESIM, BSWS, JDLM, MUSE and related tech.
• Performs advanced troubleshooting for MCS and related software issues.
• Provides IT technical support for the MTC and training teams.
• Assists with installation, configuration and operation of OS, security, and simulation software.
• Reviews STIGS and BBPs to meet DISA/Army/DoD standards.
• Develops recovery plans and reports to SST Lead.
