Job summary

Quick Services LLC (QSL) is seeking a Special Security Representative to manage SCI programs at Buckley Space Force Base, Aurora, CO. The role involves enforcing DIA SCIF standards and ensuring personnel meet clearance requirements.

Responsibilities include processing VARS, validating access, maintaining records, and coordinating with JPAS/SCIBS/DISS/eQIP. A TS/SCI clearance is required; SAP experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Special Access Programs (SAP) environments preferred.
  • Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
  • Knowledge of DoD and USAF security directives, DISS, eQIP, and JAFAN publications.

Responsibilities

  • Manage facets of a SCI program including physical, personnel, information or industrial security.
  • Ensure SCIF accreditation standards and TEMPEST requirements are maintained on AIS.
  • Process VARS and access packages; validate clearances and maintain records.
  • Coordinate with JPAS, SCIBS, DISS, and related systems for eligibility and access.

Salary

$70,000.00 with a $5,000.00 bonus at one year anniversary on the contract.

Special Security Representative(s)
  • Manage facets of a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) program including physical, personnel, information or industrial security.
  • Implement necessary standards, such as Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) SCIF accreditation standards, to ensure physical separation and TEMPEST requirements are maintained on all Automated Information Systems (AIS).
  • Provide office services, ensuring personnel assigned to SCI billets meet and maintain all security clearance requirements.
  • Manage the following programs/procedures: Periodic Reinvestigation Program, Media Control Procedures, and Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and the Access Control System (ACS)
  • Manage personnel, visitors and visit requests in databases used by the Intelligence Community to record eligibility and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information and other caveated programs such as Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), Scattered Castles and Air Force Space Command(SCIBS).
  • Maintain the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) accreditations on SCIFs and SCIF accreditation on any future SCIFs to include geographically separated SCIFs.
Functional Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process incoming Visit Authorization Requests (VARS) for USAFWC within special access channels
  • Validate clearances/accesses and prepare and process outgoing VARs
  • Maintain records of incoming and outgoing VARs in accordance with established practice
  • Conduct Personnel/Industrial Security functions within special access guidance
  • Conduct Tier 1 personnel security reviews
  • Complete and coordinate access request packages for access authorization authority"Create and process waiver packages, to include suspense tracking until completed
  • Create and manage personnel folders
  • Create, update and distribute entry authority lists
  • Prepare classified material for shipment and prepare appropriate forms (AF Forms 310 and 12)
  • Review documents for proper security classification markings and provide guidance for proper overall classification issues
Requirements
  • Personnel experience and expertise in Special Access Programs (SAP) environment preferred
  • Active DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
  • Knowledge of DoD and USAF security directives, DISS, Electronic Questionnaire for Investigations Processing (eQIP), and Joint Air Force, Army and Navy (JAFAN) publications.
