Job summary

Quick Services LLC (QSL) is seeking a Special Security Representative to support SCI programs at Buckley Space Force Base in Aurora, Colorado. You will manage security facets within a sensitive environment and help maintain SCIF accreditation and related records.

Qualifications

• Experience in a SAP environment preferred.
• Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
• Knowledge of DoD/USAF directives, DISS, eQIP, and JAFAN publications.
• Experience managing security programs and VISAR/VAR processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage facets of a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) program including physical, personnel, information or industrial security.
• Implement Defense Intelligence Agency SCIF accreditation standards to ensure physical separation and TEMPEST requirements on AIS.
• Provide office services, ensuring SCI billets meet clearance requirements.
• Manage programs: Periodic Reinvestigation, Media Control, IDS and ACS.
• Maintain SCIF accreditations for current and future SCIFs, including SCIFs that are geographically separated.
• Prepare VARs, validate clearances, and coordinate access packages.
• Create and manage personnel folders and entry authority lists.
• Prepare classified material for shipment and related forms.
• Review documents for proper classification markings and guidance.

: TS/SCI This job is at Buckley Space Force Base, Aurora, Colorado.

• This is a Proposal Position **

Accepting Bench candidates for future openings.

Salary

$70,000.00 with a $5,000.00 bonus at one year anniversary on the contract.

Special Security Representative(s)

shall have the capability to perform the following:

• Manage facets of a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) program including physical, personnel, information or industrial security.


• Implement necessary standards, such as Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) SCIF accreditation standards, to ensure physical separation and TEMPEST requirements are maintained on all Automated Information Systems (AIS).


• Provide office services, ensuring personnel assigned to SCI billets meet and maintain all security clearance requirements.


• Manage the following programs/procedures: Periodic Reinvestigation Program, Media Control Procedures, and Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and the Access Control System (ACS)


• Manage personnel, visitors and visit requests in databases used by the Intelligence Community to record eligibility and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information and other caveated programs such as Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), Scattered Castles and Air Force Space Command(SCIBS).


• Maintain the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) accreditations on SCIFs and SCIF accreditation on any future SCIFs to include geographically separated SCIFs.

Functional Responsibilities

• Prepare and process incoming Visit Authorization Requests (VARS) for USAFWC within special access channels


• Validate clearances/accesses and prepare and process outgoing VARs


• Maintain records of incoming and outgoing VARs in accordance with established practice


• Conduct Personnel/Industrial Security functions within special access guidance


• Conduct Tier 1 personnel security reviews


• Complete and coordinate access request packages for access authorization authority


• Create and process waiver packages, to include suspense tracking until completed


• Create and manage personnel folders


• Create, update and distribute entry authority lists


• Prepare classified material for shipment and prepare appropriate forms (AF Forms 310 and 12)


• Review documents for proper security classification markings and provide guidance for proper overall classification issues

Requirements

• Personnel experience and expertise in Special Access Programs (SAP) environment preferred


• Active DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance.


• Knowledge of DoD and USAF security directives, DISS, Electronic Questionnaire for Investigations Processing (eQIP), and Joint Air Force, Army and Navy (JAFAN) publications.
