Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) seeks an SSN(X) Producibility Lead to support the Navy's submarine program from SPA HQ in Alexandria, VA, with light telework and regular travel to the Washington Navy Yard.

The role develops producibility, construction, and manufacturing strategies for SSN(X), designs for manufacturability, and early-stage manufacturing plans for future submarines. A DoW Secret clearance and engineering degree are required.

Qualifications

• Programmatic experience managing projects or programs in the defense industry.
• 5+ years supporting Technical and/or Defense Industry.
• Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering field
• DoW Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

• Develop producibility, construction, and manufacturing strategies for SSN(X).
• Develop design for producibility and/or manufacturing, supporting the design of future submarines for simpler manufacturing, and reducing complexity in submarine design and construction.
• This position is located at SPA HQ in Alexandria, VA with potential for light telework and regular travel to the Washington Navy Yard; up to ~10% travel to partner locations.
