Job summary

Constellation Energy is initiating Initial License Trainees (ILT) to become licensed Senior Reactor Operators at Clinton Nuclear Power Station in Clinton, IL. The program trains candidates to supervise reactor operations and to be fully licensed by the NRC upon completion.

The role develops into overseeing licensed operators and shift supervision, with relocation assistance possible under company policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1.5+ years as Reactor Operator or supervisor at comparable facility; or 1 year at another facility with related credentials.
• Current or prior SRO Instructor certification; or 6+ years in a non-comparable facility in a relevant role.

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) with classroom and on-the-job training.
• Complete training phases to obtain an SRO license and perform duties of an Operations Shift Supervisor.
• Support outage activities, emergencies, and other duties as assigned by management.
