Job summary

Constellation Energy is seeking Initial License Trainees (ILT) to become licensed Senior Reactor Operators at Clinton Nuclear Power Station in Clinton, IL. The role trains to supervise licensed reactor operators and support outage activities.

During training you will attend classroom, on-the-job, and evaluative sessions, progressing toward NRC licensing. Post-licensing, duties include shift supervision and potentially extended hours pay. Relocation assistance may be offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Engineering degree or PE license required or equivalent.
• SRO Instructor certification required, or 6 years in a non-comparable facility with conditions.

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) including classroom and on-the-job training and evaluation.
• Complete all training phases to obtain an SRO license to supervise licensed operators.
• Perform other duties including emergency response, outage support, and department coverage.
