Memorial Health in Decatur, Illinois seeks an on-site anesthesia support professional to prep and maintain anesthesia equipment for surgical procedures. You will work with CRNAs and Anesthesiologists to ensure smooth patient care and reliable equipment operation.

Daily tasks include inventory management, equipment calibration, and basic troubleshooting. Completion of the Cell Saver course is required to participate in major cases as needed.

Qualifications

• Support patient care by assisting CRNAs and Anesthesiologists.
• Maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies with daily checks.
• Operate and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment when needed.

Job Description Summary:

Integral part of the anesthesia care team. On-site training to provide advanced technical skills in the preparation of all anesthesia equipment and supplies used during surgical and related medical procedures.

Support patient care by assisting Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists and Anesthesiologists.

Computer ordering of supplies and maintenance of inventory par levels in anesthesia work areas; trouble-shooting anesthesia equipment failures; daily cleaning of the anesthesia equipment and work areas; daily quality control and calibration of anesthesia equipment and processing of patient blood specimens; successful completion of Cell Saver Course to be competent to operate Cell Saver for major surgical cases and participate in cell saver call.

Job Description:

Pay Transparency $19.62 - $30.41

Additional compensation in the form(s) of participation in our annual incentive program are dependent on role.

Pay is based on factors such as work experience, education, certification(s), training, skills, and competencies related to the role.
