Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Splunk Enterprise Administrator focused on Cyber support for the Navy IT services program. The role spans on‑prem and hybrid cloud environments, with responsibility for daily operations, monitoring, and incident response. You will design automated tests, tune performance, and maintain dashboards in Splunk, ITSI, and related tools.

U.S. citizen with active Secret clearance preferred; DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II certification required; on-site at

Qualifications

BS degree required with 5–10 years of relevant experience.
US citizenship and active Secret clearance.
DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II certification required.
Experience with Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud in hybrid environments.
Strong scripting (Python/Bash) and automation skills.
On-site work at Norfolk Naval Station daily.

Responsibilities

Administer O&M for distributed Splunk Enterprise environments across hybrid cloud and on‑premises infrastructure.
Monitor health, data ingestion, indexing throughput, and retention; troubleshoot onboarding issues.
Support Splunk Cloud integrations and hybrid operations.
Maintain Splunk apps, dashboards, alerts, and knowledge objects.
Assist with patching, STIG compliance, and system hardening.
Participate in incident response and post-incident analysis.
