Job summary

Ethereum Technologies is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) in the United States to apply software engineering to IT operations and cloud infrastructure. You will respond to production incidents, automate deployments, and monitor system health across large-scale services.

Responsibilities include incident response, automation, monitoring, capacity planning, and collaboration between Dev and Ops to keep features reliable in production.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States (US citizen, green card, or valid work visa).
• Site Reliability Engineer or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle production alerts, investigate root causes, resolve outages, and lead post-incident reviews.
• Write code to automate manual operations, routine maintenance, and deployments (Python, Java, Ruby).
• Monitor system health using metrics, logs, and traces to measure latency, traffic, errors, and saturation (AWS SRE Guide).
• Define and manage SLOs, SLIs, SLAs, and error budgets to balance speed with reliability.
• Analyze user traffic and usage patterns to forecast future hardware and infrastructure demands.
• Bridge development and operations to ensure new features run safely in production.
