Job summary

7-Eleven is seeking an SRE RunOps Engineer 2 to ensure reliability and performance of the 7NOW delivery platform. You will implement automation, monitor services, and collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to uphold SLOs.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in CS or related field, 4+ years of experience, and AWS/Azure certifications. Familiarity with Terraform, CI/CD, and observability tools is a plus. This is a full-time role based in Irving, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; 4+ years of relevant experience.
• AWS or Azure cloud certifications (Solutions Architect Associate, SysOps Administrator, or equivalent) preferred.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and tooling development.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents for 7NOW platform services with minimal downtime.
• Design and implement automation to reduce manual tasks and improve reliability using IaC tools.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide 24/7 support for critical systems.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve observability and implement SLIs/SLOs; perform post-incident reviews.
