Devoteam is seeking an experienced SRE Lead & Manager to join our nearshore team in Portugal. You will guide the Dev/DevOps Run & Build group, shaping an SRE culture across serverless AWS workloads and ensuring high availability and reliability.

You will oversee incident management and RCA, drive observability strategies with CloudWatch, Splunk, and Dynatrace, and collaborate with cross-border teams. Strong leadership in an international setting and English fluency are essential.

Qualificações

• 8+ years IT experience with SRE/DevOps leadership or technical team management.
• Strong hands-on AWS Cloud services experience, especially serverless (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Aurora PostgreSQL).
• Advanced observability/logging tools experience (CloudWatch, Splunk, Dynatrace).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Python, or Go.
• Experience establishing SRE practices (SLIs/SLOs, Error Budgets, incident management, RCA).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management in an international context.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Lead the nearshore Dev/DevOps Run & Build team and foster ownership and continuous improvement.
• Bridge development and operations to ensure high availability and reliability of AWS serverless workloads.
• Manage incidents and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to implement preventive measures.
• Oversee advanced cloud observability and monitoring with CloudWatch, Splunk, Dynatrace, or similar.
• Drive cloud optimization and cost-efficiency while improving architecture.
• Collaborate with French build teams and customer stakeholders on priorities and knowledge transfer.
• Mentor engineers, conduct performance reviews, and uphold security and IaC standards.
