Job summary

CAC I International in the United States is seeking a seasoned SRE Platform Engineer to support the DHS OIG. You will ensure the reliability, performance, and availability of AI and data analytics platforms used by federal oversight professionals.

You will monitor production, implement observability, lead incident response, optimize costs, and plan capacity in secure Azure Government environments, contributing to mission-critical operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree plus significant SRE/DevOps experience; equivalencies allowed.
Strong knowledge of monitoring/observability, incident management, and capacity planning.
Experience with Azure cloud services and secure government environments.

Responsibilities

Monitor, maintain, and support production/non-production environments for AI apps and data platforms.
Implement observability with dashboards, alerts, health checks, and log analysis.
Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and rapid recovery actions.
Analyze performance to remediate bottlenecks and optimize resources.
Support capacity planning, autoscaling, and cost optimization.
Develop runbooks, documentation, and disaster recovery procedures.
