Job summary

Matlen Silver is seeking a hands-on SRE – Observability to accelerate the rollout of an enterprise observability platform. You will deploy Grafana Alloy agents, build configuration pipelines, and define what metrics to collect.

This role focuses on production-grade deployment and requires on-site work in Suwanee, GA initially. You will work with the Grafana stack (Loki, Mimir, Tempo) and CI/CD, IaC, and automation for field deployments, including Kubernetes clusters on bare metal.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on SRE/DevOps experience with infrastructure engineering.

Responsibilities

• Deploy Grafana Alloy agents across facility endpoints.
• Build and maintain config pipelines for agent telemetry.
• Define metrics/logs/traces to capture with owners.
• Operate and extend the Grafana stack: Loki, Mimir, Tempo, Grafana dashboards/alerts.
• Contribute to CI/CD, IaC, and automation for field deployments.
• Support Kubernetes clusters on bare metal and SUSE Rancher/Harvester.
• Integrate telemetry from OT/facility systems into the platform.
