Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a professional SRE Manager to lead the Core SRE Team within Business Services. You will mentor engineers, own hiring decisions, and drive reliability across cloud-native platforms and on-prem migrations.

You will oversee incident response, RCAs, and cross-team collaboration with Dev, Security, and Product, while championing automation and cost-efficient resilience.

Qualifications

• Experience leading SRE/DevOps teams and managing engineers.
• Proven track record in incident response and reliability improvements.
• Strong automation focus to reduce toil and improve efficiency.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures and scaling reliability.
• Expertise with Kubernetes cluster architecture, upgrades, autoscaling, and security hardening.
• Proficiency with IaC (Terraform) and multi-environment provisioning.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and grow a team of SREs; conduct 1:1s and performance reviews.
• Own hiring, onboarding, and team capacity decisions.
• Set team goals, backlog priorities, and drive planning.
• Lead post-incident reviews and RCAs across teams.
• Drive reliability initiatives across infrastructure and services.
• Champion automation and operational excellence across the platform.
• Support scalable, secure, and resilient cloud environments.
