Job summary

Clearwater Analytics in Chicago seeks an experienced Enterprise Application Support professional to monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and stability of our enterprise applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure systems run efficiently and reliably.

The role requires hands-on experience with Datadog, ELK, Grafana, and Prometheus, plus ITIL-based incident management and strong Linux/Unix skills.

Qualifications

2–5 years of experience in application and infrastructure monitoring.
Strong experience creating and fine-tuning advanced alerts for monitored nodes.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Administer and manage monitoring tools (Datadog, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus).
Perform scheduled job monitoring and incident management.
Coordinate outage communications among stakeholders.
Apply ITIL principles for problem management.
Monitor servers, networks, databases, and storage systems.
Troubleshoot IT infrastructure issues.
Demonstrate strong Linux/Unix fundamentals (memory, storage, networks, CPU, disks, services).
Scripting knowledge in Linux/Unix is a plus.
Maintain dashboards for server and network performance.
Prepare documentation and status reports on tasks.
Create daily and weekly reports for recipients.
Establish escalation procedures per plan.
