Job summary

HappyGlobal Service is seeking a DevOps/SRE professional to deliver and maintain cloud infrastructure in a US-based role. You will own Kubernetes stability, handle Tier 2 incidents, and participate in on-call rotations with careful compliance to FEHA/California labor laws.

You will also optimize observability, define SLIs/SLOs, and implement DevSecOps with Terraform-based IaC. We require 3+ years in operations, SRE, or DevOps, and proficiency in Linux, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP, plus scripting.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Linux, Networking, Kubernetes, and Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
• Experience with IaC (Terraform) and scripting (Python/Go/Shell).
• Strong ownership of system reliability and RCAs.
• Willingness to work on-site in the US and support on-call rotation.

Job description

1. Deliver and maintain cloud infrastructure (compute, network, storage).

2. Maintain Kubernetes stability, lead Tier 2 incident handling, RCA, and participate in an on-call rotation.

3. Note: All on-call arrangements, including standby allowances and compensation, are fully compliant with FLSA and applicable California labor laws.

4. Optimize observability systems (monitoring/alerting) and define SLIs/SLOs.

5. Implement DevSecOps and local security policies. This US-based role owns the engineering implementation and operations of security governance within the US environment.

6. Manage infrastructure using IaC (Terraform) standards.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software, Communications, Information Security, or related field is preferred. Equivalent professional work experience will be fully considered in lieu of a formal degree.

2. 3+ years of experience in systems operations, SRE, or DevOps.

3. Proficiency in Linux, Networking (TCP/IP), Kubernetes, and Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).

4. Experience with IaC (Terraform) and scripting (Python/Go/Shell).

5. Strong ownership of system reliability; able to perform root-cause analysis.

6. Ability to work on-site in the US and support on-call rotation.
