181 SEI Global Services, Inc. is seeking an Automation Engineer II to join the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team.

You will design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for enterprise Linux and Windows environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve reliability. The role requires hands-on administration, strong troubleshooting, and a passion for automating complex workflows.

Qualifications

• BA/BS required in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Linux/Windows automation and scripting.
• Experience administering Linux and Windows in enterprise environments.
• Experience developing automation with Python, PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins.
• Strong understanding of middleware, web, container tech, and infra concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain automation solutions for Linux and Windows environments.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts, workflows, and orchestration (Python, PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins).
• Perform hands-on administration, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Linux and Windows OS.
• Automate deployment, provisioning, configuration management, and operational processes for teams.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and support to align with standards and best practices.
• Develop implementation/test plans, procedures, and documentation to support automation initiatives.
• Participate in testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of automation solutions.
• Support change management, release management, and operational readiness for automation.
