WEX is seeking an enthusiastic SRE Intern to join our team and begin a career in reliability engineering. You’ll work on building foundational reliability practices, learning automation, observability, and incident management alongside experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing advanced degree in CS/ML/SE or related field.
• Fundamental Linux/Unix administration and networking knowledge.
• Familiarity with scripting languages and basic CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system reliability and performance with senior engineers.
• Shadow incident response, triage, and root cause analysis.
• Write basic automation scripts to reduce routine tasks.
• Learn and apply best practices in system design, maintenance and change management.
• Follow established processes for testing and service deployment.
• Participate in team learning activities and knowledge-sharing.
