Job summary

Innovative Tech Solutions Inc is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join onsite in Chantilly, VA. You will design, build, and maintain scalable, highly available infrastructure and respond to incidents to keep critical systems running smoothly.

You will work with AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker/Kubernetes, and IaC tools like Terraform/Ansible, while focusing on observability, automation, and continuous improvement of incident response processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong scripting/automation in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Hands-on with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD, IaC (Terraform/Ansible), and version control.
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk).
• Strong networking, Linux admin, and distributed systems knowledge.
• On-site work in Chantilly, VA five days a week.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, highly available infrastructure and systems

• Respond to and resolve incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tooling to reduce toil and improve operational efficiency

• Define and track SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets to ensure service reliability standards are met
• Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to continuous improvement of incident response processes
