Kforce's client, a growing medical technology company, seeks a Senior WPF Software Engineer to develop next‑generation software for medical device platforms. The role is primarily onsite in Carlsbad, CA, with a competitive package including base salary, annual bonus, and stock/RSUs.

You will build Windows desktop apps using C#, WPF, and XAML, design GUI interfaces, and create modules for hardware communication and data processing while collaborating with cross‑functional engineering teams.

Qualifications

  • 6–8+ years in software development in the medical device industry.
  • 5+ years hands-on WPF development.
  • Strong experience with C#, .NET, XAML, Visual Studio, and OO programming.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Requirements

  • At least 6-8+ years of software development experience in the medical device industry (Will also consider Pharmaceutical Industry)
  • 5+ years of hands-on WPF development experience
  • Strong experience with C#, .NET, XAML, Visual Studio, and object-oriented programming
  • Experience with GUI development, multithreading, and SQL/NoSQL databases
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment
Preferred Skills
  • Medical device software development experience
  • 3D visualization/GUI design experience
  • Azure or AWS experience
  • Knowledge of Python or JavaScript

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
