Job summary

Kforce's client, a growing medical technology company, seeks a Senior WPF Software Engineer to develop next‑generation software for medical device platforms. The role is primarily onsite in Carlsbad, CA, with a competitive package including base salary, annual bonus, and stock/RSUs.

You will build Windows desktop apps using C#, WPF, and XAML, design GUI interfaces, and create modules for hardware communication and data processing while collaborating with cross‑functional engineering teams.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.
• 6–8+ years in software development in the medical device industry.
• 5+ years hands-on WPF development.
• Strong experience with C#, .NET, XAML, Visual Studio, and OO programming.
• Experience with GUI development, multithreading, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop Windows desktop applications using C#, WPF, and XAML.
• Design modern graphical user interfaces for medical device systems.
• Create software modules for hardware communication, data storage/retrieval, and processing algorithms.
• Support software verification, validation, and documentation efforts.
