Job summary

Canadian Solar's CS Power Systems division is seeking a Warehouse Senior Specialist to strengthen inventory control and optimize warehouse operations. You will support audits, coordinate with accounting for accurate tracking, and help plan warehouse space to maximize efficiency.

The role requires leadership, 3+ years in warehousing, and a solid understanding of WMS/ERP tools. Forklift certification is preferred, with a focus on compliance and cost-conscious operation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a warehouse senior specialist role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven expertise in warehouse operations within energy or manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and related software.
  • Understanding of local, state, and federal warehouse regulations.
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills.
  • Forklift certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of inventory control systems and participate in audits to verify accuracy and mitigate losses.
  • Assist in coordinating with the Accounting team to ensure accurate inventory tracking, timely reporting, and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity within warehouse operations.
  • Assist in planning and managing warehouse space utilization to maximize storage capacity and optimize workflow.
  • Oversee and support the use of warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technological tools to streamline operations effectively.
  • Assist the Warehouse Manager with budget management, including cost control and preparation of financial reports.
  • Train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse staff; Develop work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Contribute to the preparation and presentation of regular reports on warehouse performance, including key metrics and KPIs.
