Job summary

CS Power Systems, a cutting-edge division of Canadian Solar, seeks a Supply Chain/Logistics Manager for the Mesquite Plant. You will lead warehousing, transportation, and customs activities, drive KPI performance with 3PLs, and manage vendor relations to meet customer requirements.

Responsible for inventory health, capacity planning, and coordination with Sales, Finance, and other Supply Chain functions, while ensuring compliance with company standards and continuity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in warehouse management or transportation.
• Familiar with international and domestic logistics service providers.
• Good knowledge of SAP system.

Responsibilities

• Monitor warehouse, transport and customs performance; review KPI targets with 3PL and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with sourcing for 3PL selection, pricing, contracts, and vendor management.
• Ensure sufficient storage and delivery capacity with 3PL and adapt to business needs.
• Oversee logistics budget for DC and inbound/outbound freight; identify productivity opportunities, space optimization, and freight control.
• Suggest process improvements to reduce admin burdens and costs; monitor inventory health with planning.
• Maintain relationships with customers, understand needs, and define processes to meet requests.
• Coordinate with compliance, quality, and EHS to ensure supplier standards and continuity.

This Supply Chain/Logistics Manager is overall responsible for Mesquite Plant logistics operation, including warehousing, domestic & international transportation and customs, to ensure the requirements of the company and customers are properly met. The Supply Chain/Logistics Manager will lead a group of team members, and collaborate closely with internal stakeholder from Sales, Finance and other Supply Chain functions as well as external suppliers.

Primary Responsibilities

• Closely monitor warehouse, transportation & customs third‑party logistics performance, lead KPI performance review and work with third‑party logistics on action plans to close gap against KPI targets per service agreement, drive third‑party logistics on continuous improvement
• Work closely with sourcing team on local third‑party logistics selection and bidding process, support pricing and contract negotiation as well as ongoing vendor management
• Secure sufficient storage and delivery capacity with third‑party logistics, build up flexibility to meet business requirement and contingency
• Responsible for logistics budget on Distribution Center and inbound/outbound Freight, identify opportunity for productivity improvement including but not limited to space optimization, transportation mode optimization, freight control
• Develop and recommend improvement to existing processes and procedures that contribute to continuous improvement of local operations and reduction of administrative burdens and cost
• Hold regular review on inventory healthy, work closely with planning team to monitor inventory level, provide logistics information on storage capacity planning, inventory aging & drive aged/defective stock clearance
• Maintain good relationship with internal and external customers, understand customer needs and define proper process to meet customer request
• Work closely with compliance, quality and EHS team to ensure suppliers understand and comply with company's standards and business continuity requirements

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or above, preferred in Logistics, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in warehouse management or transportation, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Familiar with international and domestic logistics service providers
• Good knowledge on SAP system
