Job summary

I2X Technologies is seeking a Sr. VoIP Engineer to support a customer at Quantico, VA. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and will be performed onsite. You will design, deploy, and maintain Cisco VoIP solutions, provide SME support to government agencies, and ensure reliable voice services across complex networks.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in VOIP/UC, CUCM 12+, Cisco Unity/Presence/Emergency Responder experience, and DoD 8570 IAM-II/IAT-II certifications. US citizenship required.

Qualifications

• Five or more years designing, building, or maintaining communications systems.
• Three or more years with CUCM 12+ or newer.
• CCNP Collaboration or CLCOR certification.
• Experience with Cisco Unity, Cisco Presence, Cisco Emergency Responder.
• Knowledge of Cisco UCCX and SIP-based contact centers.
• Experience with IPv4 routing and external SIP providers.
• Proficient with SIP, SCCP, MGCP, DSN, PSTN, and H.323 systems.
• DoD 8570 IAT-II/IAM-II certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs tests, provisions, operations and emergency responses for voice network operations.
• Designs, configures, and installs VoIP hardware/software upgrades.
• Maintains VoIP documentation (drawings, cut sheets, configurations, deployment plans).
• Identifies and diagnoses problems affecting voice services.
• Provides SME support for RKB tenant agencies.
• Troubleshoots voice issues/outages, including non-core hours.
• Works with vendors in support of the ITCSU.
• Performs preventative maintenance on VoIP devices.
• Keeps current with emerging voice/video technologies.
• Performs additional tasks as required by OSC and the Government contracting office.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Sr. VoIP Engineer to support ongoing activities for a customer in Quantico, Virginia . This position will be onsite and will require an active *Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.

• Performs tests, provisions, operations and emergency responses for voice network operations
• Designs, configures, and installs VoIP hardware/software replacements and upgrades
• Develops and maintains all VoIP documentation (drawings, cut sheets, configurations, and deployment plans)
• Identifies and diagnoses problems and factors affecting voice services
• Provides day-to-day subject matter expert support for RKB tenant agencies
• Troubleshoots voice related issues and outages, which may occur during non-core hours
• Works with vendors in support of the ITCSU
• Performs preventative maintenance services on all devices within the VoIP area of responsibility
• Maintains a current understanding of emerging technologies and trends in voice and video services
• Performs other tasks as required by OSC and the Government contracting office

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a TOP SECRET clearance and must be eligible for a TS/SCI
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Five (5) or more years of experience designing, building, and/or maintaining communications systems with a minimum of three (3) years of experience with CISCO Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) Version 12+ or newer
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Collaboration or successful completion of the CLCOR exam
• Prior experience with Cisco Unity, Cisco Presences, Cisco Emergency Responder
• Knowledge of Cisco UCCX
• Prior experience with dynamic and static IPv4 routing and integrating with an external SIP provider
• Proficient with SIP, SCCP, MGCP, DSN, PSTN, and H.323 systems and devices
