Job summary

OSC Edge seeks a Senior VoIP Engineer stationed on-site at Quantico, VA, to lead Cisco Unified Communications Manager operations across enclaves and locations. You will monitor performance, enforce STIGs, and mitigate vulnerabilities while coordinating with vendors and the government contract office.

Responsibilities include provisioning, upgrades, and documentation of VoIP systems; diagnosing voice service issues; and performing maintenance during/off-hours as required.

Qualifications

• Top Secret clearance and eligible for TS/SCI.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Five+ years designing, building or maintaining comms systems with at least 3 years on CUCM 10.5+.

Responsibilities

• Tests, provisions, operates and responds to voice network incidents.
• Designs, configures, and installs VoIP hardware/software upgrades.
• Maintains VoIP documentation (drawings, cut sheets, configurations).
• Diagnoses issues affecting voice services and outages.
• Performs maintenance on VoIP devices and supports vendors as needed.
• Stays current with voice/video tech trends and best practices.
• Performs additional tasks as required by OSC Edge and government contracting office.

Senior VoiP Engineer - w/ Security+ and CCNP or CCNP Collaboration with CUCM experience

LOCATION: Quantico, VA - (On-site 5 days a week)

As a Senior VoIP Engineer, the individual will oversee and manage all components of the Cisco Unified Communications Manager cluster. In this role, the Engineer will monitor and control the performance and status of voice and video resources across multiple enclaves and locations, utilizing software and hardware tools. In addition, the individual will work to ensure all voice applicable STIGs and vulnerabilities are resolved or mitigated in a timely manner.

This full-time position requires a physical presence at the worksite in Quantico, VA.

Responsibilities:

• Performs testing, provision, operations and emergency responses for voice network operations
• Designs, configures, and installs VoIP hardware/software replacements and upgrades
• Develops and maintains all VoIP documentation (drawings, cut sheets, configurations, and deployment plans)
• Identifies and diagnoses problems and factors affecting voice services
• Troubleshoots voice related issues and outages, which may occur during non-core hours
• Works with vendors in support of the mission
• Performs preventative maintenance services on all devices within the VoIP area of responsibility
• Maintains a current understanding of emerging technologies and trends in voice and video services
• Performs other tasks as required by OSC and the Government contracting office

Required Qualifications/Education and Experience:

• Must have and maintain a TOP Secret Clearance and eligible for a TS/SCI
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Five (5) or more years of experience designing, building, and/or maintaining communications systems with minimum of three (3) years of experience with CISCO Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) Version 10.5 or newer
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) and 60 days to get the CCNP Collaboration or successful completion of the CLCOR exam
• Prior experience with Cisco Unity, Cisco Presences, Cisco Emergency Responder
• Knowledge of Cisco UCCX
• Prior experience with dynamic and static IPv4 routing and integrating with an external SIP provider
• Proficient with SIP, SCCP, MGCP, DSN, PSTN, and H.323 systems and devices
