Job summary

Isys Technologies is seeking a Senior VoIP Engineer to support a government customer in Quantico, Virginia. The role is onsite and requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

You will design, implement, and maintain Cisco UC solutions, provide SME voice support, and work with vendors to sustain VOIP services. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in communications systems, CCNP Collaboration or equivalent, and DoD 8570 IAT-II/IAM-II certification.

Responsibilities

• Tests, provisions, and operate voice network

• Maintains VoIP documentation (drawings, configs, deployment plans)

• Troubleshoots voice issues, including non-core hours
• Collaborates with vendors for ITCSU support
• Performs preventive maintenance on VoIP devices
• Keeps up with voice/video tech trends
• Performs other duties for OSC/government contracting office

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Sr. VoIP Engineer to support ongoing activities for a customer in Quantico, Virginia. This position will be onsite and will require an active *Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.

• Performs tests, provisions, operations and emergency responses for voice network operations
• Designs, configures, and installs VoIP hardware/software replacements and upgrades
• Develops and maintains all VoIP documentation (drawings, cut sheets, configurations, and deployment plans)
• Identifies and diagnoses problems and factors affecting voice services
• Provides day-to-day subject matter expert support for RKB tenant agencies
• Troubleshoots voice related issues and outages, which may occur during non-core hours
• Works with vendors in support of the ITCSU
• Performs preventative maintenance services on all devices within the VoIP area of responsibility
• Maintains a current understanding of emerging technologies and trends in voice and video services
• Performs other tasks as required by OSC and the Government contracting office

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a TOP SECRET clearance and must be eligible for a TS/SCI
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Five (5) or more years of experience designing, building, and/or maintaining communications systems with a minimum of three (3) years of experience with CISCO Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) Version 12+ or newer
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Collaboration or successful completion of the CLCOR exam
• Prior experience with Cisco Unity, Cisco Presences, Cisco Emergency Responder
• Knowledge of Cisco UCCX
• Prior experience with dynamic and static IPv4 routing and integrating with an external SIP provider
• Proficient with SIP, SCCP, MGCP, DSN, PSTN, and H.323 systems and devices
