As a member of our infrastructure engineering team, you will focus on key pillars: Virtualization, Cloud, and Servers. Your efficient contributions will drive business success and empower our company to enable customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

What will you do?

• Virtualization Management:Design, implement, and lead virtualized environments using VMware, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.
• Linux System Administration:Administer and maintain Linux servers, including installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and performance.
• Automation and Scripting:Develop automation scripts using tools such as Ansible, Python, and Terraform to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention.
• Infrastructure tooling:Implement and manage monitoring/configuration solutions to ensure the health and performance of virtual and Linux environments, using tools like NinjaOne and other monitoring platforms.
• Cloud Integration:Support hybrid cloud environments by integrating on-premise systems with cloud platforms such as AWS, and Azure.
• Security and Compliance:Ensure systems are aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, PCI, CIS). Implement security standard methodologies and perform regular security audits.
• Disaster Recovery:Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for environments, ensuring regular testing and updates.
• Documentation:Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and processes to ensure operational consistency.
• Collaboration:Work closely with multi-functional teams, including architecture, operations, security, and application teams, to support business needs and drive technology initiatives.
• Mentorship and Training:Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior staff, encouraging a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Problem Resolution:Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex technical issues to ensure system stability and minimize downtime.
• Standardization:Drive the standardization of processes and procedures across the environments to ensure consistency and standard processes.
• Vendor Management:Liaise with vendors for support, procurement, and maintenance of virtualization and Linux infrastructure components.
  

How will you get here?

Education

• 4-year degree with a major in Computer Science/ Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited university, or relevant work experience.
  

Experience

• 5+ years’ experience in VMware Platform Administration
• 5+ years’ experience with Linux Administration
• 3+ years’ experience with AWS Cloud infrastructure management
• 3+ years’ experience in L3 Infrastructure Operational Support
