Description

Amazon.com is looking for a talented, driven and experienced Sr. Vendor Manager to join the Audio Accessories team. This Sr. Vendor Manager will own the portable speakers category and will be responsible for identifying potential brand and product business opportunities, building direct relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing vendor setup and new item setup processes, setting prices, developing collaborative marketing and promotions, and driving sales and margin improvements. The candidate should have experience in building strong relationships, driving significant top and bottom line results, and be comfortable managing multiple responsibilities within a fast-paced environment. They must have the leadership presence and communication skills to represent Amazon at all executive levels. The candidate must also possess strong analytical skills and be comfortable drawing metric-based conclusions from extensive data. A deep curiosity about how things work and a passion for creating a world-class shopping experience are essential.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Stay on top of industry and competitive trends.
  • Create and drive strategy amid ambiguity while executing on tactical initiatives to grow selection, sales, and margins.
  • Lead credibility and selection strategies to enhance customer experience and education.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams including in-stock management, site merchandising, marketing, PR, finance, operations, and retail systems.
  • Negotiate successfully and manage relationships with business judgment.
  • Apply analytical thinking and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Lead and influence cross-functional collaboration within Amazon and externally.
Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in account management, project or program management, or buying.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL.
  • Experience driving cross-team collaboration.
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions.
  • Experience with business analysis and P&L management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience aligning cross-functional teams.
