Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a senior Vendor Management professional to drive the Vended Services transition and optimize the global vendor ecosystem. You will lead Magnit VMS migration, standardize SOW/MSA templates, and ensure transparent governance across multiple partners.

You will collaborate with Cortex & Cloud vendors, regional Workforce Leaders, Legal, and Finance to align on staffing, pricing, and risk, while maintaining data hygiene across PSA systems and reporting milestones in Asana.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of Professional Services Vendor Management in a high-growth Enterprise Software / SaaS company.
  • Experience transitioning vendor models from staff augmentation to outcome-based, milestone-driven SOW deliverables.
  • Hands-on experience with Enterprise PSA tools (Clarizen/Planview) and Vendor Management Systems (Magnit/Coupa/Fieldglass).
  • Demonstrated success auditing global vendor footprints and managing GSIs and specialized niche partners.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the operational shift from transactional staff augmentation to outcome-based Vended Services, expanding subcontractor margin.
  • Manage the global Cortex & Cloud vendor portfolio; execute vendor ecosystem cleanup, establish standardized SOW/MSA templates, enforce rate cards, and host QBRs with strategic partners.
  • Lead the migration to Magnit VMS, streamline onboarding, eliminate manual ELs/POs, and automate contract renewal tracking.
  • Own subcontractor demand forecasting in partnership with regional Workforce Leaders; build warm bench capabilities across vendors to minimize Time to Staff.
  • Partner with Data and Shared Services to operationalize automated intake channels and maintain data hygiene and skills tracking across PSA systems.
  • Collaborate with Technical Services Leaders, PMO, Sourcing, Legal, and Finance to resolve resourcing bottlenecks and deliver milestone reporting in Asana.

Your Impact
  • Vended Services Model Transition: Drive the operational shift from transactional staff augmentation to outcome-based Vended Services, expanding subcontractor margin.
  • Ecosystem Optimization & Governance: Manage the global Cortex & Cloud vendor portfolio. Execute vendor ecosystem cleanup, establish standardized SOW/MSA templates, enforce rigid rate cards, and host Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with strategic partners.
  • VMS Platform Migration: Serve as the primary business lead for the migration to Magnit VMS, streamlining onboarding, eliminating manual ELs/POs, and automating contract renewal tracking.
  • Capacity Planning & Bench Alignment: Own subcontractor demand forecasting in partnership with regional Workforce Leaders. Cultivate strategic "warm bench" capabilities across vendors to minimize Time to Staff and support custom pricing model execution (5% CFFP rate uplift).
  • Digital Workflow & Data Hygiene: Partner with Data and Shared Services leads to operationalize automated intake channels maintaining 100% data hygiene and skills tracking across PSA systems.
  • Cross-Functional Interlock: Partner seamlessly with Technical Services Leaders, PMO, Sourcing, Legal, and Finance to resolve resourcing bottlenecks, manage risk, and deliver transparent milestone reporting in Asana.
Your Experience
  • Domain Expertise: 6+ years of Professional Services Vendor Management experience in a high-growth Enterprise Software / SaaS company.
  • Vended Services & Commercial Acumen: Proven track record in transitioning vendor models from staff augmentation to outcome-based, milestone-driven SOW deliverables.
  • System & VMS Experience: Hands‑on experience with Enterprise PSA tools (Clarizen/Planview) and Vendor Management Systems (Magnit/Coupa/Fieldglass).
  • Vendor Ecosystem Management: Demonstrated success auditing global vendor footprints, establishing standardized rate cards, and managing Global System Integrators (GSIs) and specialized niche partners.
Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non‑sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com‑missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below.
