What We Are Looking For :

We’re seeking a Sr. UX Designer to enhance Bandwidth’s UI by creating exceptional user experiences for our customers, setting high standards for usability, functionality, and visual appeal.

What You'll Do :

1. Collaborate with product owners to gather requirements, design, prototype, and iterate on product features and workflows based on customer feedback.
2. Work with UI developers to ensure designs are accurately implemented in line with the user experience vision.
3. Partner across departments within Bandwidth to develop customer journeys that integrate backend specifications with high-fidelity UX mockups.
4. Maintain and improve Bandwidth’s design system to ensure consistency and quality across interfaces.
5. Engage with organizational leaders to understand business goals and technological needs.
6. Present concepts and design decisions to stakeholders, including product teams, developers, and customers.

What You Need :

1. 6+ years of UI/UX design experience with large-scale applications.
2. Proven ability to lead design projects in complex, cross-functional organizations.
3. Expertise in Figma and a strong understanding of design principles and best practices.
4. Empathy for understanding both internal and external user perspectives.
5. Ability to interpret front-end code and understand how designs translate into functioning interfaces.
6. Strong communication skills for giving and receiving feedback.
7. Effective collaboration skills with product managers and engineers.

Bonus Points :

1. Experience managing or contributing to design systems for consistency.
2. Experience conducting user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
3. Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
4. Background or experience in the telecom industry.
