Overview

This is a remote position that can be hired in North Carolina, Arizona, and Illinois.

This position is aligned to the Enterprise Digital Design organization at Silicon Valley Bank, a division of First Citizens Bank. It defines the User Experience (UX) for digital products, services, and channels. The role involves providing expert consultation on digital experiences, leading design and user testing for cross-functional initiatives, and collaborating with IT teams. The position is part of a design team for the SVB Go commercial banking platform, working alongside product managers and developers in various domains such as administration, security, information reporting, and money movement.

Responsibilities

1. UX Design - Drive strategic monitoring and enhancement of the Bank's digital user experience, ensuring products are efficient and user-friendly. Guide the design process for successful integration and acceptance.
2. Business Support - Support digital products and initiatives through technical and operational duties. Mentor less experienced designers if applicable.
3. User Testing - Test new designs to ensure success before implementation. Write and execute test plans, develop analytic processes, and gather insights on user engagement and acceptance.
4. Collaboration - Work closely with project teams, product owners, developers, and stakeholders. Coordinate digital deliverables with the IT department.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of experience in User design, or High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of experience.

Preferred experience in: Financial services industry, commercial banking platforms, and design research.
