Job description

This is a remote position that can be hired in North Carolina, Arizona, and Illinois.

This position is aligned to the Enterprise Digital Design organization at Silicon Valley Bank, a division of First Citizens Bank. This position defines the User Experience (UX) for digital products, services, and channels. Provides expert consultation on the creation of digital experiences that align to client expectations, needs, and ease of access. Leads all aspects of design and user testing for cross-functional and enterprise-wide initiatives. Works closely with Information Technology (IT) teams on digital deliverables. Facilitates the strategic execution of developed digital enhancements and initiatives through strong technical acumen. This position will be part of a design team for the SVB Go commercial banking platform. Designers are embedded in domains alongside product managers and developers, and each domain focuses on different aspects of the SVB Go servicing experience, such as administration, security, information reporting, money movement, and others, for customers enrolled in the digital platform.

Responsibilities

  • UX Design - Responsible for driving the strategic monitoring and enhancement of the Bank's digital user experience. Ensures that digital products, services, and channels deliver an efficient, easy-to-use experience for clients. Guides the design process of digital products, services, and channels for successful integration and user acceptance.
  • Business Support - Provides support for digital products, channels, and corporate initiatives through a variety of technical and operational duties. May mentor less experienced designers in the work group.
  • User Testing - Ensures the success of digital product, service, or channel enhancements by testing new designs prior to implementation. Writes and executes test plans for design research. Develops analytic processes for user testing scenarios to monitor results. Uncovers critical information on user engagement and acceptance through testing activities.
  • Collaboration - Works closely with project teams, product owners, developers and other stakeholders in the enhancement and implementation of strategic initiatives throughout the Bank. Coordinates digital deliverables with the IT department.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in User design OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in User design

Preferred Area of Experience : Financial Services Industry, Commercial banking platforms, design research

If hired in Illinois, the base pay for this position is generally between $104,300 and $150,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and / or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
