Our Cyber team is currently looking for a Sr. Underwriter based in New York. This is a hybrid role.

The Impact You Will Have

• Underwrite profitable new and renewal business to meet LoB targets regionally, following underwriting guidelines and authority.
• Negotiate price, terms, and conditions with producers.
• Analyze financial statements, risk exposures, and claims history of Financial Institutions.
• Support policy administration and credit control processes.
• Train and mentor less experienced staff.
• Support acquisition and retention of business, including negotiations.
• Maintain strong relationships with brokers, clients, and stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring To The Role

• 3-5 years' experience in underwriting profitable Cyber business.
• Proven relationships with brokers and understanding of regional/local insurance markets.
• Knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience working in complex, global organizations.
• Degree in Economics, Finance, Insurance Management, or Business Administration.
• Experience with AI and ML applications is a plus.

The salary range is $99,563 - $150,064, with actual compensation determined by experience and role scope.
