We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Underwriter to join our Large Accounts Cyber underwriting team, a rapidly growing and dynamic segment. The individual will be responsible for servicing a renewal book and producing new business through exceptional underwriting practices across North America.

Responsibilities
  • Build and execute a business plan to expand the Large Accounts portfolio, aligning with the overall Cyber business strategy.
  • Achieve profitable premium and rate goals, collaborating with actuarial and claims teams to meet financial targets.
  • Work across business units to underwrite, manage, and service a cyber and technology renewal book, and generate new business in line with unit goals.
  • Exercise discretion and sound judgment in risk analysis and evaluation.
  • Participate in risk assessment discussions and negotiations with producers within delegated authority limits.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with brokers and clients to identify new distribution opportunities.
  • Maintain expertise on products, services, and target markets to better assist clients in uncovering cyber risks.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and lead client and broker meetings to educate on evolving cyber risks.
  • Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and legal requirements.

You will report to the Head of Large Accounts & US Portfolio Management.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Moderate to extensive experience in Cyber and Technology underwriting or related fields, with a strong understanding of data security, privacy, and cyber risks.
  • Ability to travel at least 15% of the time.
