About the Role

As a Production Underwriter, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth through new business production and broker engagement, while maintaining underwriting discipline and contributing to the evolution of our underwriting strategy. You’ll be a key face of Elixir to the broker market — combining technical cyber expertise, commercial savvy, and tech-enabled workflows to deliver an exceptional quoting experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite and quote new and renewal Cyber Insurance risks in accordance with Elixir’s guidelines and appetite
• Build and maintain strong relationships with retail and wholesale brokers across assigned territories
• Collaborate closely with the distribution team to execute territory-level growth plans
• Evaluate submissions using data-enhanced tools to drive pricing and coverage decisions
• Identify emerging trends and provide feedback to actuarial, product, and claims teams
• Maintain underwriting discipline while achieving production and hit ratio targets
• Represent Elixir at industry events, webinars, and broker meetings
• Contribute to underwriting process improvements and platform enhancements by partnering with product and engineering teams

Qualifications

• 5+ years of underwriting experience in Cyber, E&O, or other relevant commercial lines
• Strong broker relationships and proven track record of profitable new business production
• Deep understanding of cyber risk drivers, coverage nuances, and policy structures
• Ability to interpret loss data, exposure metrics, and financial statements
• Comfortable using technology to streamline workflows and improve decision-making
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
