Job summary

C2R Ventures is seeking a Software Developer to join its quant trading team in New York. You will design, build, and maintain electronic trading connectivity infrastructure that handles order flow across major markets globally, with emphasis on FIX connectivity and low-latency execution.

You will contribute to high-impact systems and collaborate with traders and engineers to optimize performance and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on development experience in multiple languages: C++, Python, Java or C#.
• Deep knowledge of the FIX protocol and hands-on FIX connectivity experience.
• Experience with order routing in a multi-system, global trading environment.
• Familiarity with financial models or algorithmic trading strategies is a plus.
• Experience with low-latency or high-throughput system design.
• Prior work connecting to global exchanges or dark pools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain systems that support electronic order routing.
• Build and enhance FIX connectivity for clients, brokers, exchanges, and internal systems.
