Join ENTRUST's Power Generation group as a full-time Sr. Consulting Engineer - Thermal Performance, focused on supporting steam and gas turbine and power plant performance assessments and optimizations. This position offers remote and hybrid schedule options with minimal travel required.

ENTRUST Solutions Group Power Generation provides independent third-party engineering solutions to global power providers and plant operations. Our services cover conventional and renewable power, compliance, plant conceptual design, operations, and maintenance.

As a key member of our Power Plant Engineering team, you will serve as a subject matter expert in thermal performance assessment projects. Responsibilities include analyzing thermal performance impacts, heat balance modeling, and optimization analysis. You will prepare for client meetings, lead discussions, and demonstrate technical expertise in turbine and power plant equipment engineering assessments. Additionally, you will support management with new product development, business opportunities, conferences, and training sessions, interfacing with industry organizations. The role involves up to 10-15% travel for site visits, client meetings, and conferences, offering a dynamic opportunity to impact the industry.

• 5 - 10+ years of experience in turbine performance engineering, from manufacturers or utilities.
• Proficiency in engineering calculations, assessments, and software such as PEPSE, GTPRO, or similar thermal performance evaluation tools.
• Willingness to travel as needed for project support and business development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional Engineering licensure and an advanced degree.
